Brexit and Its Impact on Russia and the European Union
Understanding the Dynamics of Brexit
Lets wait for the following events before we decide. EU is facing some horrific risks. It is completely unable to defend itself. Trump will distance US from bailing out EU NATO members. Germany has shown its East links to Russia by leaking secrets. It's a push over and at high risk or needs billions to rearm and no money. It can't expect free help from UK or US after how its behaved unless it pays up billions it hasn't got. Imagine EU states asking for UK and US to come and fight and die for them.
Its facing a very bad demographic time bomb in North countries and an angry homeless 30-40 youth unemployment on South again billions needed. Its has many technically bust banks especially in Italy and other states. Deutsch is in a fragile state. Billions bailout will be needed. Its a matter of time. It is poor in strategic energy resources hence dependent on Russia funding their military. They're trying to defend against. You couldn't make it up. It is positioned in the worst place for exponential waves of immigration. Look at Sweden imploding and the state of Italy and Greece. They have lost their identity. Many of their pension liabilities are simply unaffordable even today without massive bailouts and the demographic timebomb only just kicking in with all pension and health care liabilities. It is getting fridious especially the Eastern members. The rise of the right is worrying. We really are now best out of that growing mess which will implode. Its just a matter of time. There are too many existential strategic risks. Its tough for the UK and they treated us with such arrogance. But time will show this was by far one of our best decisions.
Russia's Gains from Brexit
Russia benefits from the UK leaving the EU and the resulting political instability in the region and the utter social and economic chaos in the UK. The UK was seriously damaged by its membership of the European Union. It was asset and cash stripped cynically and systematically as £50000000 each day was extortionately demanded from the British tax payer and the industry that had been some 30 of the UK GDP bribed with British money. Insult upon insult! to relocate to the European mainland and eastern European newer member nations leaving Britain with less than 5 of its industry remaining to be rebuilt from.
The whole world is suffering from the global pandemic and the cruel war being waged against Ukrain, world peace, freedom and democracy. This is not effected by Britain achieving independence other than the freedom demonstrated by the UK in leading world support for the defence of Ukrain freedom and democracy. The present and future for the UK is not and will not be easy. But it will not be asset and cash stripped by a dictatorial unelected institution with no good intent toward Britain. Whole regions of many EU members rely/relied upon the UK market as its main or only customer and released from the stranglehold of EU domination the UK is already expanding trading relationships with the world.
The Future of the EU and UK
While the EU faces significant challenges, the UK's exit, Brexit, also brings about opportunities and changes. Countries like Russia stand to benefit from this geopolitical shift. Russia can act as a mediator in European economic and security issues. Additionally, the UK's return to a more global trading relationship is likely to open up new markets and opportunities for both countries.
However, the road ahead is fraught with complexities. The UK and the EU face economic uncertainty and diplomatic hurdles. The future of the UK and the EU is inextricably linked, and the realignment of relationships post-Brexit will have far-reaching consequences. The shift in power dynamics and the changing landscape of global trade and alliances will require both sides to navigate through treacherous waters with caution and strategic foresight.
