Exposing Myntra's Scam and Cheating Practices: A Customer's Incisive Account

I have used Myntra for a long time and I used to love it, but recent experiences have led me to question their practices. My journey with Myntra has become a series of disappointments and unfulfilled promises, leading me to believe that Myntra is a scam and is actively cheating their customers.

Historical Purchase and Quality Issues

Once, I ordered a pair of jeans in size 26, and they delivered a size 34 instead. This was a significant issue, not to mention the fact that Myntra deducted charges even though the problem originated on their side. Additionally, most of the products I have purchased have poor fitting and quality. A week ago, I placed an order in a sale with a 65% discount; however, Myntra never even shipped the item, even though it was available at the marked price. After multiple complaints, they canceled the order, claiming it was out of stock, but it was actually in stock. I received a sorry coupon that does not apply to anything, rendering it useless. Even though I am an Myntra insider, I do not receive the discounts that other non-members get, which I have observed through the accounts of my friends. This situation only continues to deteriorate with time.

Customer Support Inefficiency

I tried returning a poor quality product four times, but without success. The customer service at Myntra is characterized by unhelpful supervisors and seniors who repeat the same lines and offer no resolution. They not only pocket the money but also refuse to assist if a customer receives a cheap product.

One of my most recent and distressing experiences involved the order of a jacket during a sale. I purchased the jacket on December 19th, but due to a size issue, it did not fit properly. I promptly initiated a return request on the same day, but the agent did not collect the item on December 20th, 2023. Subsequently, I received a message stating that the return was not processed due to alleged damage. I raised multiple complaints and requested the collection of the jacket and a proper resolution, but the previous request was closed without a satisfactory explanation. The issue was the size discrepancy, not any damage.

Quality Team's Role in Forgeries

I purchased a Titan Eco Range Gents Men Steel Analogue Watch NL1584SL03, and received a warranty/guarantee card that resembles an original product. However, when I scanned the code at the back of the product, it did not get scanned, confirming that it is a fake product. I had multiple calls and discussions with Myntra customer support, but they simply closed the issue, claiming that their quality checks are fine and it is not their mistake. Can you believe this? How can you be inhuman and unapologetic, knowing that the responsibility clearly lies with your quality control team? Do you know how many people you have cheated? I have all the rights to sue you for this.

Conclusion

Myntra has a track record of scamming and cheating its customers. From inaccurate sizing and quality issues to unhelpful customer support and fake products, it is time for Myntra to take accountability and provide genuine resolutions. If you are experiencing similar issues, do not hesitate to reach out and voice your concerns. Your actions may just expose a larger problem that needs attention.
