Turn Unpublished Talents into Income

Have you ever found yourself excelling in areas that didn't offer monetization, such as roasting marshmallows or shelling peanuts? I’ve consistently honed my skills in these areas, but alas, have not yet translated them into substantial income.

Poetry: A Lifelong Gift

Since the tender age of 6, I’ve been writing poetry. By the time I was 8, my poems showed a remarkable maturity and depth. Despite my accumulated poems surviving a house fire in 2014 and being stored away privately, they have garnered admiration and even praise from grown men. I once received a standing ovation at the Moberly male prison after sharing my poems in public forums.

My writings possess an uncanny ability to deconstruct the psyche with precision, evoking deep understanding and empathy in even the most hardened individuals. They have even been adapted into two works of art, including one of them, an opera titled Is My Kitty Cat A Duck, which vividly brings the balance of Yin and Yang to life.

However, at 77, my poetic works have yet to see the light of publication. In my twilight years, the challenge remains—to ensure my craftsmanship of words does not simply “fall by the wayside” and remain unread.

World Travel: A Life Well-Lived

Back in the early days of my travels, I had the privilege of visiting all seven continents and 133 countries. My travel experiences have led me to some of the world’s most famous sites and museums, including those in Russia. I’ve immersed myself in various cultures, made lifelong friends, and have never felt the need to monetize my experience since it was far more valuable to me than the cost of travel.

Truly, my world travels have been an enriching journey. Unfortunately, with my travel companion Alexander Ogilvie, who shared this world with me, passing away in late 2022, my best travel buddy is no longer joining me on journeys. However, I remain inspired and driven to cherish and continue my travels.

While many believe fame and fortune come from everyday things, the reality is often drastically different. Being an influencer often requires significant promotion and effort, much like how one might seek to monetize skills. If you are aspiring to emulate this path, the journey begins by carefully studying those that already achieve it.
