After successfully receiving funding for the second tranche of our startup, the mood in the room was positive. However, the idea of opening a second office in India seemed entirely irrelevant. While the financial numbers might have looked good, the hidden costs associated with managing a multi-office setup were too significant to ignore. Thankfully, my partner agreed with me, and the idea of hiring a design team in India was quickly dispensed with.
