Where God Is Calling You to Teach and Preach: Your spiritual journey and opportunities

Reaching out and uplifting others on their spiritual paths is a crucial part of many faith journeys. My own journey began in the mid 1990s, when I started teaching and preaching on AOL chat rooms. Since then, I've had the privilege to share my insights on various platforms, including Quora, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

Learning and Growth

There are numerous teachings and texts that have inspired my journey. For instance, the Qur'an emphasizes, 'God raises the status of the believers but the people of knowledge have higher ranks.' Similarly, the first verse from the Qur'an, 'Read. Read in the name of your Lord the Most Generous,' sets a foundation for ongoing exploration and enlightenment.

Freedom to Teach from the Comfort of Your Home

Teaching and preaching no longer require physical gatherings. They can now happen anytime, anywhere, thanks to the wonders of the internet. From home, I've continued my personal study, which has also made me a bridge for others facing similar struggles. This has transformed my spiritual gift into a means of encouragement and guidance.

Virtually Meeting and Connecting

The virtual space allows for connections and relationships to be cultivated in myriad ways. I have been involved in online platforms such as the World Bible School, a free online Bible study course available worldwide. Additionally, I have authored unpublished materials and engage in blogging, posing questions and sharing my thoughts to inspire others.

The Call to Teach and Preach According to Biblical Texts

Jehovah's Witnesses respond to several reasons to teach and preach, supported by biblical verses. For example, 2 Timothy 4:1-5 highlights the responsibility of delivering the word of God during both favorable and difficult times. Ephesians 6:19-20 encourages believers to proclaim the good news and prayer for those who proclaim it, emphasizing the importance of spreading the message to all nations.

Following the Example of Christ and Prophets

Christ set the example through Isaiah 61:11-12, declaring, 'the spirit of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me, because Jehovah anointed me to declare good news to the meek. He sent me to bind up the brokenhearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the eyes to the prisoners.' Similarly, Ezekiel 33:8-9 stresses the urgency of giving warnings and the importance of personal responsibility in sharing the message.

Understanding the Context of Our Times

Matthew 24:14 calls for the good news of the Kingdom to be preached globally, serving as a witness to all nations. These and many other scriptures indicate the urgency of our time and the responsibility we bear to share the word of God. By doing so, we ensure that many have the opportunity to hear the message and potentially find salvation.

Whether on digital platforms or in personal encounters, the call to teach and preach continues. Our shared journey can inspire and uplift, ensuring that the message of hope is ever-present for those in need.
